It get’s better when everybody grows the fuck up. 

How very true indeed. I’m really feeling this video today… I was thinking about how much things have changed since high school and how much none of the things that mattered to me then matter to me now. It’s really true, what they say, if you’re a nice person then good karma will come back your way… and all of the people that treated you like shit way back when will want to be friends with you now. And maybe some won’t want to be friends, but you won’t even want them to because they’re still living their lives as pathetic assholes. I’ve never understood people that have to tear others down to build themselves up… and to be honest I was a bit thrown off when in resent times some of those types of people wanted to try to portray themselves as friendly. And sometimes now, it’s even hard to see at first that they were being nice simply for their benefit only… I’m not sure if people really change, I’m not sure if they can ever be good people, but I know I’ve changed in a way that I don’t take any bullshit anymore from that type of person… because I’ve grown the fuck up and I’ve always deserved better. 

And! Word from the wise to the ladies: Those popular boys in high school that you wish you could have gotten close to will come around, so take the chance if you want to, but maybe you actually are way beyond that now. I’ve learned to appreciate myself for who I am, and learned that even tho I’m not a superstar singer, or big photographer, or bakery shop owner, that at least I have more to give than just stories from old drunken nights. Or maybe you’ll still continue to be nice, and give them the benefit of the doubt… and ya never know, maybe people do change.
